Tipsy Putt is California’s premier indoor mini golf pub! We're growing rapidly and looking for an amazing and experienced VP to run our marketing program.

Tipsy Putt LLC is a growing, unique drinkertainment restaurant with multiple locations throughout Northern California. We offer a large rotating local beer, wine and cocktail selection, indoor mini golf, a multitude of other unique pub games and a vibe that makes you want to let loose.

Full job description:

We are looking for an accomplished and strategic-minded VP of Marketing to join our executive leadership team at Tipsy Putt. As the Head of Marketing, you will play a crucial role in leading our overall unit sales, promotions, rewards loyalty network, community engagement and membership programs. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing all aspects of sales including new and existing business development, email marketing campaigns, social media campaigns and third party agency performance. Effective and efficient communication with your team, organizational leaders, as well as our investors and board members, will also be key in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and measure return customer visits via loyalty rewards and membership based programs
  • Develop and execute the company's sales strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives and market trends.
  • Develop and execute a lead development system via multiple media channels: Social, PR and Community activations.
  • Establish sales goals with the sales manager, and formulate strategic plans to achieve revenue targets per unit.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate high-performing sales teams, including sales managers.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to enhance individual and team performance, foster a culture of excellence throughout our organization, and drive a results-driven mindset.
  • Drive sales B2B and B2C initiatives to meet or exceed revenue targets, expand market share, and increase customer acquisition and retention rates.
  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships, negotiate major contracts, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Implement and optimize sales processes, tools, and systems to streamline operations, enhance productivity, and ensure accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Analyze sales data and metrics to monitor performance, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, product, and customer success, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Provide market feedback and insights to inform product development, marketing campaigns, and customer experience enhancements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for differentiation and develop strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Work closely with the Finance department to ensure accurate reporting for Revenue Accounting, Corporate Finance, and other internal/external stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver sales training programs, tools, and resources to equip the sales team with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively engage with customers, position our products/services, and close deals.
  • Continuously assess and enhance sales enablement initiatives to support ongoing development and success.

Qualifications:

  • Associates, Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, marketing, or related field. Your experience and success matters more to us than your degree .
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably as a current or former VP of Marketing, VP of Sales, Sales/Marketing major producer or Sales Manager.
  • Hospitality, restaurant or service industry experience preferred. Multi-unit, multi-market experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate sales teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in sales operations, CRM systems, and sales performance analysis.
  • Experience with Triple Seat, Toast, HubSpot all preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.

This role requires travel throughout Northern California and to any future locations.
