The role sits in Pawtucket, Rhode Island working a hybrid schedule weekly. Relocation will be offered to the right candidate.

A day in the life:

  • Report to the SVP DE&I and Philanthropy immediately with the potential to fully lead the DE&I function over time.
  • Enhance and shape the Global DE&I strategy, experiences, programs and results that will significantly impact our employees, communities and consumers. Work with the HR Leadership Team and key business leaders to drive and support a thriving and developing organizational culture.
  • Collaborate with key leaders to align DE&I initiatives with business and consumer strategies.

Internal - Workforce

  • Leverage workforce and external data and insights to continuously refine and elevate the existing Global DE&I Strategy.
  • Win the “hearts and minds” of leaders in the organization to ensure that DE&I initiatives are fully operationalized at the team level.
  • Expand “voluntary data capture” initiatives to ensure full understanding and programming against underrepresented groups - including Global Gender ID and Race and Ethnicity (non-U.S.).
  • Partner with Global Talent Management to build intentional DE&I learning and development experiences that drive inclusive thinking across the organization and equitable learning opportunities for our diverse talent.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to reinforce the Diverse Interview slate requirement: including leveraging available technology to determine gaps in the interview funnel; and expansion outside of the U.S. Build internal and external partnerships that help attract and amplify varied perspectives.
  • Lead the Global Employee Resource Group (ERG) strategy to elevate and recognize the power of our ERG’s to drive and build Hasbro’s culture.
  • Create and moderate safe spaces for honest and practical dialogue around DE&I while challenging conventional wisdom.
  • Assess the efficiency of our diversity initiatives and their impact on both culture and business results.
  • Lead and develop the DE&I team to ensure their growth and development while delivering against high impact initiatives for the organization.

External – Multiple Constituents

  • Tight partnership with the Philanthropy teams to align key social impact partners and programs across our DE&I tenants.
  • Evaluate and improve the key assets (product, marketing, content) review process improve our strategic DE&I plan & identify new opportunities to integrate and amplify diverse perspectives within our processes and products.

What you'll bring:

  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience and proven operational execution in DE&I.
  • Complimentary skill in business, marketing, organizational health and Culture, talent management, and/or similar people-focused functions.
  • A Bachelors degree, with a preferred focus in business, HR, or related fields, or proven experience.
  • You have an established reputation as a trusted DE&I “practitioner”, influencing with finesse, business insight, and brand stewardship to drive the desired organizational health and culture.
  • You have a team-oriented and collaborative mind-set. You think strategically but with a passion for action and impact.
  • Proficient in consultative, mediation, and facilitation skills, able to adapt to the diverse needs of customers and build trust with all parties.
  • Ability to handle complex DE&I issues with discretion, confidentiality, self-awareness, and good judgment to assist successful conflict resolution across all levels of the organization.
  • Empathy and active listening skills. Work collaboratively, gather alternative perspectives and show compassion and understanding of different needs, fostering interdependency to achieve deliverables.
  • Strategic, data minded capabilities to quickly interpret & communicate key insights from diversity metrics, research & reporting - with business, financial and legal acuity.
  • Constantly curious about innovative market trends, industry news, and methodologies critical to inform strategy and improve impact.

Compensation Range, US Currency
Starting Pay Range: $171,600
Pay Range End: $318,600
