Job Overview: Manifest Financial is currently seeking an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our growing team and oversee all aspects of our HR Department. As the HR Manager, you’ll be responsible for shaping and executing our human resources strategy, including recruitment, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee development, and compliance with labor laws. This role will be based in Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the recruitment and hiring process, including onboarding for new employees.
- Develop and implement employee engagement and training programs to boost morale and productivity.
- Develop and oversee performance management systems to drive employee performance and development. Provide guidance on performance evaluations.
- Oversee the design and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Foster a positive work environment and handle complex employee relations issues.
- Ensure effective communication channels between management and employees.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
- Establish and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support the company's evolving needs.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, overseeing HR operations, and implementing best practices for HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in an HR Manager or HR Generalist role.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and tools.
- Previous experience with a startup is a bonus.
- Ability to travel 2-4 times per year for company-wide events and meetings in the Austin office.

$100,000 - $120,000 a year
