Description
The purpose of this position is to render direct clinical services to clients within agency policies and programs.
What you'll do:
- Carries a caseload involving any or all of the Agency's services, including individual, family, and group treatment modalities.
- Performs the full range of clinical duties with an increased and deepened clinical capacity including the gathering and analysis of data, formulation of assessment and treatment plans, and implementation of the treatment for routine and complex cases.
- Formulates understanding of clients' situations, providing appropriate services with supervisory consultation.
- Develops and implements skills in providing appropriate services, increasing responsibility for the appraisal of the effectiveness of own work through reflection and completion of all outcome measures documentation, treatment plans, and IEP.
- Performs record keeping functions and other administrative duties as required by the Agency including written treatment documentation within the required time frames.
- Participates in agency staff development programs, professional group seminars, committees, and group supervision to increase professional knowledge.
- Collaborates with other agency personnel, supervisor, appropriate specialists or consultants on specific case related problems.
- Participates in weekly supervision.
- Participates in Utilization Review.
- Develop an increased leadership role in both clinical teams and interpreting the agency to the community.
- May have training responsibilities within JCFS.
- May supervise graduate level student interns.
- May develop expertise and create practice specialty.
What we require:
- A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution which must be verified via official certified transcripts.
- IL PEL with social work endorsement and/or LCSW State licensure.
- At least 2 years of experience in school setting preferred.
- Supervisory recommendation for internal candidates.
- Demonstrated consistent ability to maintain requirements for both direct service productivity and documentation.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed for school events/trainings
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Office

- Compensation: The starting compensation for this position is $62,000 - $65,000 annually (final offer will be based on experience).
