Primary Function:
To maintain accurate/complete up-to-date APQP Documents within US Operations.
Tools and Equipment:
PC, telephone and other office equipment
Materials:
SPMs, SPI's, General Work Instructions and Product Criteria instructions

Working Procedure:
The following are the usual major job duties, but this job description does not preclude the performance of other duties as assigned by the supervisor:
• Interacts with all functions of the organization, including NPI/Product Development Engineering, Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, etc., to support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities and effectively transition new products and ongoing processes.
• Identify and ensure adequate and appropriate resources are assigned to all APQP tollgate elements to ensure the company's goals for successful completion are achieved and the customer's needs are met.
• Prepare and update applicable APQP documents such as Process FMEA, Process Flow Diagram(PFD), and Control Plan.
• Review product criteria, SPMs and engineering changes and update APQP documents as required.
• Ensure compliance to ISO9001, IATF16949, AS9100, AS13100, AIAG-FMEA/Control Plans/APQP, SAE AS9145, SAE J1739, etc. requirements.
• Effectively support and follow policies and procedures.
• Must follow all safety requirements of job as outlined on the job safety card.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Complete all paperwork associated with the job. Correctly maintain all forms and instruction sheets
• Maintain a clean and orderly working environment.
• Inform your supervisor about problems that occur.
• May be required to handle hazardous waste by collecting and transferring the waste into proper containers at satellite storage areas or storage areas and assuring that the containers are properly inspected, labeled, and closed as required. Must follow correct instruction for handling hazardous waste and report any deviations to supervisor immediately. Must attend yearly instruction in hazardous waste handling and review of current procedures if job duties could affect non-compliance.
Special Skills and/or Experience:
1. Must possess good communication and organizational skills.
2. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook). Must be able to develop spreadsheets and modify formats in order to independently complete assignments.
4. Ability to work independently; be detail-oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry and analysis.
5. Must be proficient in use of MRP System or databases, IQMS desirable.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate across all functions of the business.
7. Prior experience with AIAG/AS9145, specifically with Process Flow Diagrams, Control Plans, and PFMEA, is a plus.
Minimum Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree preferred
1-3 years' experience in an administrative role or related position
Work Environment:
Office environment primarily, however, may be exposure to dirt dust, odors, and noise within acceptable limits with the use of protective equipment.
