What You'll Do:
As we embark on the exciting journey of implementing our new ERP/HRIS system (Workday), you'll be at the forefront, transforming HR needs into a seamless and efficient system. You will:
  • Lead Collaboration: Partner with HR and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities that enhance efficiency, automation, and consolidation.
  • Manage Workday Configurations: As a key member of the Workday ownership group, you'll oversee configurations and testing, ensuring timely and consistent service delivery.
  • Drive Innovation: Lead projects that implement new and improved HR processes, making a real difference in our organization.
  • Empower HR Staff: Develop reporting and analysis tools that equip our HR team to excel.
  • Conduct Compensation Analysis: Ensure our compensation packages are competitive and equitable by conducting thorough market analyses.
  • Administer Pay-for-Performance: Oversee our pay-for-performance system, provide informed recommendations, and present findings to County Board committees.
  • Stay Ahead of Legislation: Analyze current and proposed legislation to assess their impact, recommending necessary policy changes.
  • Provide Guidance: Interpret and advise on policies, collective bargaining agreements, and labor regulations, supporting department heads and managers in their application.
  • Build Relationships: Foster effective working relationships with employees, departments, union representatives, and other stakeholders, creating a collaborative work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized college/university in human resources management, information system management, or a closely related field and three (3) years of recent professional work experience in human resources information system administration or related experience.
    OR
  • A master's degree from a recognized college/university in human resources management, information system management, or a closely related field and two (2) years of recent professional work experience in human resources information system administration or related experience.
    Preferred: Experience with Workday
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary: $87,859 to $116,168 with performance-based merit increases and non-base performance awards.
