Duties
- Manage intellectual property litigation cases, including patent, trademark, and copyright disputes
- Oversee and provide guidance to a small team of attorneys on day-to-day case management
- Handle all aspects of IP litigation, from case strategy development to courtroom representation
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Present oral arguments and advocate on behalf of clients in court
- Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution when necessary
- Maintain clear communication with clients regarding case progress and strategy
- Stay updated on developments in intellectual property law and apply them to ongoing cases
Requirements
- 5 to 15 years of experience in intellectual property litigation
- Proven ability to manage litigation cases independently
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- US Patent Bar membership is a plus, but not required
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications
- US Patent Bar (preferred, but not required)
