What you will do:
- Collaborate with Inside and Outside Sales Representatives to enhance sales skills and product knowledge (minimum 60% of the week).
- Conduct weekly debriefs with Outside Sales Representatives and Branch Managers to improve communication and branch strategies.
- Review and ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets are exceeded.
- Utilize tools such as Salesforce, Cognos, and Logic Track to develop sales strategies, new account growth, and profitability.
- Assist Branch Managers with budgeting, territory definitions, and customer assignments for outside sales reps.
- Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE.
- Lead and train onboarding process for new sales employees.
- Support the development and sale of National Accounts within respective regions.
- Lead the rollout of sales programs, technology, and product launches.
- Train on new sales tools as they become available.
- Coordinate 2-step opportunities in the region if applicable.
- Mobilize resources in storm events to maximize sales.
- Work with the marketing team to create sales collateral for use by all sales staff.
- Contribute to the development of regional and local marketing programs.
- Secure co-op funding from vendors for promotions throughout the year to boost growth in targeted markets.
- Manage website leads to maximize conversion to new accounts and orders.
- Provide information to the marketing team for website updates on pricing and promos.
- Organize membership and outreach efforts with relevant organizations.
- Lead and manage the Sales Associate program in the region.
- Assist the Branch Manager in hiring, training, and developing sales personnel.
- Assess the strengths and weaknesses of Outside Sales Reps and develop improvement plans.
- Continually recruit potential sales talent to maintain a talent pool.
- Train all branch staff in product knowledge and sales skills.
- Educate and ensure the use of Salesforce within the sales and branch organization.
- Conduct System Selling and PAVS courses throughout the year.
- Maintain effective communication with Branch and Regional Managers, and Executive Leadership, to achieve common goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and web conferencing.
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
- Optimize personnel scheduling for exceptional customer service.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or five to ten years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to identify and develop talent, strong judgment, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills, mentorship and coaching capabilities, motivational leadership skills, positive and adaptable attitude, effective change management.
- Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting business documents, report and correspondence writing, and effective presentation skills.

- Problem-solving skills in varied situations, with the ability to interpret written and verbal instructions.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, and perform occasional sitting, fine motor skills, reaching, climbing, and balancing.
- Exposure to various environmental conditions, including moving mechanical parts, heights, chemicals, and weather conditions; moderate noise level.
