Logistics Specialist

LOGISTICS SPECIALIST
The Logistic Specialist will develop and operate our service offerings. The individual will utilize their relationships, experience, problem solving, and analytical skills to help our customers. This position requires direct contact with our clients and our suppliers to ensure a high level of performance in the movement of goods through the supply chain. Arrange outbound/inbound cargo shipments from start to finish. Communicate with both internal and external customers. Investigate and resolve problem shipments.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for assuring fulfillment of all mandatory regulations.
• Complete documentation for receipt of shipments, or review documentation to correctly process shipments.
• Arrange, book, and confirm space on flights, freight, cargo, and other transportation methods.
• Responsible for warehouse inventory accuracy, organization, cleanliness and efficiency.
• Manage 3PL customers and update day to day software data insuring accuracy.
• Provide assistance to customers and business partners via telephone and email
• Handle customer complaints in a calm, professional manner
• Complete daily paperwork requirements and keep auditable records.
• Load trucks; operate forklifts and perform other hands on duties as needed.
• Perform pick up and deliveries.
• Perform daily warehouse receipts.
• Support accounting monthly closeout providing accurate and on time information according to schedule.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of logistics including Air, Ocean Operation
• Demonstrated knowledge of managing Freight Forwarding, Customs Brokerage, and Cross-Border operations
• English and Spanish (Must)

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 Per Year
