Technical Consulting Manager

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Consultant to conduct a comprehensive vendor assessment and security audit. The consultant will provide an unbiased, third-party evaluation of the MSP’s performance and security practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Vendor Assessment:
   1. Conduct a thorough evaluation of the current MSP.
   2. Assess the effectiveness and scalability of the MSP’s services given the company’s growth.
   3. Provide an unbiased assessment of the MSP’s business model and its suitability for supporting a larger organization.
2. Security Audit:
   1. Perform a detailed security audit to ensure all security measures are up to standard.
   2. Identify any gaps or vulnerabilities in the current security setup.
   3. Evaluate the overall security posture and provide recommendations for improvements.
3. Reporting and Recommendations:
   1. Identify areas where the company may be missing critical support or security measures.
   2. Highlight what is currently working well and what needs attention in the future.
   3. Prioritize urgent needs that require immediate action.

Must-Haves:

1. Proven experience in managing vendor audits, particularly with MSPs and managed infrastructure teams.
2. Strong ability to conduct comprehensive vendor and security audits.
3. Excellent analytical and reporting skills to provide clear, actionable recommendations.
4. Ability to work independently and provide an unbiased assessment.
