We are seeking a Lead Generation Specialist for a high growth opportunity to expand our Sales department. The Lead Generation Specialist will be identifying lead opportunities for all of Lakeshore Sport & Fitness’s services at our downtown location. The Lead Generation Specialist is responsible for outbound business-to-business (B2B) prospecting, qualifying, and scheduling meetings between our customers and sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business via the telephone and mass communications to introduce Lakeshore Sport & Fitness’s solutions and identify decision-makers within specific target markets; Proactively contact B2B prospects
  • Conduct a needs analysis to identify the prospect’s pain points and determine how Lakeshore Sport & Fitness’s solutions will speak to those needs
  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel
  • Enter and update lead data into our CRM database
  • Collaborate with the sales team on new and projective lead pipeline activity weekly
  • Conduct investigative research on target companies and different verticals
  • Deliver weekly reports on call activity, lead, and opportunity generation

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of lead generation, sales prospecting, or sales experience preferred; if you are motivated to start a new sales career than we’d like to speak with you too!
  • Must have exceptional phone communication skills, with a thick skin - working with a sense of urgency
  • Task-oriented, taking great notes and efficiently entering data into our CRM database
  • Initiative, organization, team skills, and a desire to learn are critical and could make or break this opportunity
