Data Scientist - Trading

In this position, you will:

1. Collaborate with trading teams to analyze trading outcomes, linking profit and loss metrics with latency and other infrastructure data.
2. Explore how changes in infrastructure technology impact business metrics.
3. Conduct research to develop models that assess exchange performance.
4. Create mathematical methods to evaluate how specific internal applications influence overall performance.
5. Design advanced algorithms to identify new business opportunities, detect performance issues, or pinpoint events affecting profit and loss.
6. Contribute to the creation of novel datasets.
7. Enhance and refine quantitative research methodologies.
8. Perform additional related tasks as needed.

Required Skills:

1. Over 3 years of experience programming in Python with a focus on data science and analytics.
2. Strong ability to interpret data with a critical mindset.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills.
4. Proficient in documenting and presenting analysis to both technical and business stakeholders, including senior leadership.
5. Background in statistics.
6. Experience with SQL is advantageous.
7. Familiarity with Machine Learning techniques is a plus.
8. Understanding of network protocols (IP, UDP, TCP, Ethernet) is beneficial.
9. Dependable and consistent availability.
