• 3+ years of experience with MRI and/or Yardi accounting systems
• Strong expertise in property accounting, specifically with MRI/Yardi

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Manage financial data for multiple real estate entities
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Record journal entries and income
• Prepare monthly Profit & Loss reports
• Compile NY-specific reports (RPIEs, rent registrations)
• Develop accurate financial reports as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of real estate accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of income tax basis accounting (cash and accrual)
• Advanced Excel skills (V-lookup, Pivot tables)
• MRI/Yardi Expertise Required

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth property accounting experience
• Familiarity with NY-specific real estate filings
