Main Purpose of the Role

Have you ever thought about how the chips, biscuits, and candies are packaged and what the solution is behind the final product? As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the system design of a full customer solution - managing work packages, overseeing site works, and ensuring system performance and integration. You will be closely in touch with the sales team, aftersales colleagues, and customers.

You will be part of an international team with extensive PMO expertise, traveling to meet customers both in the country and throughout the European region.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. End-to-end project management including delivering systems within budget, on time, and to specification.
  2. Drafting CAD layouts during the project lifecycle.
  3. Producing engineering specifications for bought-out equipment or work packages.
  4. Ensuring design criteria comply with all applicable technical and statutory regulations (i.e., machinery directive).
  5. Carrying out pre-delivery inspections of “bought out” equipment.
  6. Providing technical solutions, price calculations, and risk support for sales proposals.
  7. Attending both the technical and commercial weekly meetings when requested.

What Skills Are We Looking For?

To be successful in this role, you must have a technical background and thinking (engineering studies preferred), material handling experience, and knowledge of AutoCAD or similar technical solution applications. You will travel to customers, so we would appreciate it if you have a driving license and are not afraid to fly. Most of the communication occurs in English.
