JB Poindexter & Co. is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst responsible for conducting detailed data analysis, collaborating with stakeholders, and generating actionable insights to drive cost savings and operational excellence. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting supplier consolidation efforts, delivery performance improvement initiatives, and overall supply chain optimization.
As a Senior Supply Chain Analyst at JBPCO, your responsibilities will include conducting detailed data analysis, collaborating with stakeholders, and generating actionable insights. You will also support supplier consolidation, delivery performance improvement initiatives, and overall supply chain optimization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Led the Analytics and Data workstream to drive Procurement metric improvements across BUs and Procurement teams to increase productivity and key initiatives pipelines and drive execution of pipeline projects
  • Plan and schedule computing, deep dive, and reporting activities to meet established timetables and objectives
  • Develop and deploy reporting Power BI dashboards, data visualizations, and predictive data modeling, and provide strategic execution support for the entire Procurement team to enable effective performance management & growth in productivity
  • Maintain a close partnership with Business, Marketing, and Finance to identify and develop leading indicators and trending analytics to increase productivity and gauge the impact of commodity market movement. Standardize metrics definition and improvement initiatives.
  • Actively participate in setting strategic initiatives and Annual operating plan development process by providing critical analytical inputs and ensuring Corporate and BU Procurement and Procurement to Finance alignments
  • Partner with Systems and IT on business integration projects to drive new process implementation and enhancements through the requirement gathering phase, user acceptance testing, production phase deployments, training, end-user support, and Procurement database management. Collaborate with IT to develop and maintain compliance monitoring, reporting usage & Data Integrity
  • Provide economic insights and reports for commodity, labor, and monetary markets that may impact Procurement financials. Proactively develop leading indicators and a systematic way to maintain the commodity level data onto JDE material masters
  • Pull supplier data from JED, cleanse and rationalize it, and make it fit for the reporting scorecard.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the Procurement Savings Tracker, uploading critical information to maintain a comprehensive record of cost savings achievement
  • Support ongoing efforts in data cleansing and enrichment by identifying and addressing discrepancies in the data to maintain a reliable database for analysis.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify potential savings opportunities within the supply chain and collaborate with category managers to assess payment terms disparity.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Finance, Business Analytics, or Supply chain.
  • 3-4 years of experience in analytics or supply chain function.
  • 3+ years of experience using data analysis tools and software, including SQL, Excel, and PowerBI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and supply chain optimization is a plus.
