Clear Choice Dermatology is looking for a full-time or part-time Certified Medical Assistant.
The Medical Assistant (MA) position is responsible for providing care for the comfort and well-being of dermatology patients. They are part of a team of providers and front office teams and ensure the best experience for the patient. The MA takes comprehensive and accurate patient medical histories, properly constructs and documents the patient note via transcription from the provider, all the while simultaneously increasing their medical knowledge and building upon the foundational medical assistant clinical skills.
The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers with medical documentation and procedures to increase the efficiency and the productivity of the provider they are assisting. They allow the provider to focus on the patient's needs while they coordinate the visits with appropriate staff members and provide effective communication with patients.
Dermatology experience is preferred but training can be provided. There are many opportunities for advancement!

Requirements
Position Requirements
• MA certification in the state of WA
• High School education or GED equivalent. (Scribe)
• Minimum two years of medical office experience. (Medical Assistants)
• Working knowledge of general office duties.
• Working knowledge of contracted insurance plans.
• Accurate data entry.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Great telephone skills.
• Biologics and MOHS experience is a plus !
• Candidate willing to travel preferred
• Demonstrated ability to use a computer with Microsoft Word, Outlook and EMR software. • Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and thorough knowledge of HIPAA policies and procedures.
