Controller - Manufacturing (Reporting to CEO & COO)

Duties include:

1. Oversee the operations of the accounting department
2. Supervise the internal audit function of the firm to maintain a high level of accuracy and integrity of financial information
3. Anticipate potential problems and develop solutions needed to resolve them; take proactive actions and identify strategies to prevent potentially disruptive situations
4. Identify and formulate strategies consistent with organizational goals. Apply innovative tools and techniques in strategic planning
5. Issue timely and complete financial statements
6. Preparation of financial proforma development and projections
7. Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations
8. Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
9. Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
10. Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
11. Provide for a system of management cost reports
12. Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
13. Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/receivable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
14. Working knowledge of project costing and analysis, estimates to completion, generally accepted accounting standards, and adherence to credit and collection policies of the company

Requirements:

1. Education: B.S. Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
2. Minimum 8-10 years of relevant accounting experience in Manufacturing
3. MBA or CPA a plus
4. ERP Experience (SAGE a plus) with strong EXCEL skills
5. Base salary 125k - 140k plus benefits and Excellent Corporate Culture
