SUMMARY
Responsible for providing customer service and overall service of assigned customers and/or policies, soliciting new business on existing accounts and support of Producer-led new business efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Fosters and manages overall relationship with clients ensuring retention of mid market book of business and high satisfaction;
  2. Selects markets for solicitation;
  3. Analyzes market proposals for verification of benefits, premiums, and competitiveness;
  4. Reviews coverage contracts for accuracy of policy provisions;
  5. Meets with clients for pre-renewal strategy, proposal delivery and explanation;
  6. Conducts client open enrollment meetings and answers questions regarding benefit coverage;
  7. Negotiates with markets for benefits premium concessions;
  8. Ensures that client team handles client benefit inquiries and manages team to effectively service clients; resolves escalated service issues;
  9. Manages new carrier and plan implementations for book of business;
  10. Ensures team prepares claims experience and utilization reports and reviews for accuracy;
  11. Reacts, processes, and follows up on new business;
  12. Meets with clients as needed or directed by Producer;
  13. Collection of fees, reconciliation and resolution of any outstanding balances within 60 days of invoicing date;
  14. Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);
  15. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Six (6) or more years related work experience.

Valid insurance license.

Must continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.

Encouraged to complete Career Path requirements as communicated by supervisor.

Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
