Job Summary:

Manage the day-to-day functions of the branch operations including sales, service, parts, administration and facilities.

 

Essential Job Duties:

·        Manage all branch personnel – sales, parts, administration, and service.

·        Develop business plan to ensure revenue growth in all company products.

·        Ensure that all company policies, practices and procedures are followed by branch personnel.

·        Perform sales activities including handling incoming phone calls for all types of equipment sales, parts and service, including vendor relationships.

·        Make outgoing phone calls for account and quote follow-up.

·        Negotiate sales price and discounts in consultation with outside sales.

·        Assist sales representatives in establishing personal contact and rapport with customers, including joint sales calls and Lunch & Learn presentations.

·        Collaborate with outside sales personnel to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.

·        Schedule and conduct performance reviews of all branch personnel.

·        Review expenses with Office Manager and recommend cost saving measures.

·        Hold regular meetings with sales, service and office staff to review department operations.

·        Interact with Corporate personnel on branch behalf and report to branch personnel.

·        Oversee the overall upkeep and maintenance of the branch.


Qualifications:

·         Prefer a university degree in engineering, marketing or business studies or a minimum of five (5) years of related experience or training in management, or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.

·         5+ Years Air Compressor Industry Experience Required.

·         Require excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

·         Must have a valid state driver’s license, clear of violations and convictions, and be willing to travel.

·         Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.


Preferred Skills:

·         Require problem-solving and customer service skills to effectively handle all types of business transactions and customer interaction.

·         Be able to motivate and lead others.

·         Prefer experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.

 

Physical Demands:

·        Sitting at a desk/computer most of the time.

·        Cell Phone and office phone use often.

·        Off-site sales and supervisory of employees interacting with customers in different sites that could require occasional driving, walking, bending, crawling, climbing etc.
