Job Title: IT Administrator
Location: Fuqway V, NC (On-Site, 5 Days a Week)
We are partnering with a manufacturing firm based in Fugway V, North Carolina, to find an IT Administrator with a strong background in both systems and networking. The ideal candidate will be highly hands-on, providing crucial administrative support and technical expertise to their team. This role demands experience with setting up and maintaining computers, printers, VMware, Windows environments, Cisco Meraki, TCP, VLANs, and LAN/WAN. Local candidates who are comfortable commuting to the Fugway V office daily are preferred.
The position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and a keen attention to detail. The successful candidate will collaborate with an IT Manager on network and systems tasks and will eventually oversee a team. Familiarity with VOIP phone systems and the ability to drive IT support resolutions are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance network efficiency and security, ensuring smooth operation.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and network equipment.
- Set up, configure, and monitor computer and network infrastructure for optimal performance.
- Maintain servers, hardware, applications, and services to ensure continuous connectivity.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements for security, system upgrades, disaster recovery, and backup solutions.
- Keep network equipment updated with the latest firmware.
- Utilize expertise in Cisco and Meraki environments, including DNS and related technologies.
