As a Cybersecurity Operator, you'll be a crucial part of the team, hunting for and eliminating cyber threats. This dynamic role combines technical expertise with tactical precision, protecting critical military and allied networks.
Responsibilities:
- Threat Hunting: Conduct in-depth hunts for cyber threats, navigating complex networks to identify vulnerabilities and malicious actors.
- Forensic Analysis: Perform detailed forensic analysis, collecting and analyzing digital evidence to support investigations.
- Defensive Operations: Execute operations to protect networks and systems from cyber attacks.
- Network Monitoring: Monitor networks and systems for suspicious activity, analyzing and documenting findings.
- Incident Response: Manage and respond to reported or detected cyber incidents.
Qualifications:
- Clearance: TS/SCI eligible
- Experience: 2+ years in cybersecurity (5+ preferred), with experience in threat hunting, forensic analysis, and network security.
- Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level III (e.g., CASP+, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP)
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of computer systems, networking protocols, security tools (e.g., Elastic Stack, Arkime, Zeek, Wireshark), and adversary tactics.
- Problem-solving: Ability to analyze complex problems and find effective solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
