Senior Platform Engineer

The Role

As Linktree Has Become a Global Brand Our Service And Infrastructure Footprint Has Grown Significantly. We Are Looking For Experienced Platform Engineers To Help Us

• Maintain the shared infrastructure ecosystem used by all engineering teams at Linktree
• Develop an internal platform dedicated to making our engineering teams more effective
  
  
  

As a member of the Developer Platform Team you’ll be working alongside other platform engineers passionate about technology, with the opportunity to engage and support engineers across the business.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be comfortable with cloud-infrastructure, software-development, and engaging directly with technical-stakeholders to understand their needs.

What You’ll Own

• Develop our shared infrastructure ecosystem (edge services, CI/CD agents, cloud account management etc)
• Build re-usable infrastructure and service patterns for our engineering teams
• Ensure the reliability of critical infrastructure underpinning Linktree
• Collaborate with engineers across Linktree to understand and resolve technical challenges slowing them down
  
  
  

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information and Technology or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant industry experience
• Prior experience with designing, building and maintaining cloud-infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code
• Prior experience with backend or frontend software development (We use Typescript primarily but experience with any equivalent language is fine)
• Prior experience with large-scale system and infrastructure design
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and a passionate for helping other teams
  
  
  

Preferred Experience, Not Required (Optional)

• AWS Certified (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrators)
• Prior experience building platform tooling, or component libraries/systems
  
  
  

Linktree is committed to providing a competitive compensation package. Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $150,000-$200,000 in the San Francisco Bay or Los Angeles area. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate expertise, the scope of role and level, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
