Job Summary: The Software Engineer I will contribute to the development and implementation of custom software solutions for Ardent Mills. This role provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your skills within a collaborative team environment. The successful candidate will work independently and with senior engineers to ensure the quality and efficiency of the software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development Support: Code, test, and debug software applications to meet project requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and other team members to learn best practices and contribute to team objectives.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards and security protocols.
- Learning and Development: Stay updated with emerging technologies and methodologies to continually improve your skills and the development process.
- Project Assistance: Track project milestones and timelines, providing support to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with .NET framework and C# programming.
- Knowledge of Angular, including its core principles like components, services, and directives.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with agile development practices and team collaboration tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database, Blob Storage, and Azure Active Directory.
- Proficiency in C# and its features like LINQ, async/await, and Entity Framework.
- Knowledge of cloud design patterns, microservices architecture, and containerization with tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Creating and managing RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Core.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and methodologies.
