Reporting to the Executive Director of the MCPHS Career Development Center, the Data & Operations Manager will be responsible for (1) building and maintaining a complete and sophisticated data collection, analysis, and reporting function for the office, and (2) ongoing management of web platforms and office operations.
Position is based in Boston and offers a flexible work arrangement with the opportunity to work remotely part of the week. The Career Development Center is an 11-person team providing comprehensive career services for students who are hard-working and in demand for the healthcare and life science education and skill sets.

Data Analytics
- Capture, analyze, report on all career-related activity of students, employer information and recruiting activity, and internship & job placement outcomes.
- Lead and conduct research on job & internship placements for MCPHS students and recent alumni.
- Create and distribute career-related surveys and survey-based reports.
- Work closely with CDC Directors overseeing Career Advising and Employer Relations on data projects and processes.
- Collaborate with other MCPHS offices on periodic data import/export processes.
- Create and update monthly & semester dashboards.
- Develop assessments to determine efficacy of programs.
Operations
- Manage career services CRM and career development web resources. Serve as expert resource/consultant on these platforms as needed by office and campus partners.
- Serve as point of contact for career platform vendors.
- Work with Director of Career Advising & Operations in periodic review of existing platforms and consideration of potential new platforms.
- Manage student worker schedules for the office, including student interns working on data & operations projects.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field: math, data analytics, economics, science, or similar.
- Two or more years’ experience with data analysis, surveys, and reporting.
- Project management experience.
- Highly proficient with advanced Excel formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
- Proficient with SQL, and Tableau, PowerBI, or similar.
- Proficient in survey tools (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, etc.)
- Comfortable taking initiative and working both independently and collaboratively.
- Organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree with three or more years of experience.
- Experience with Salesforce admin and reporting.
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, sitting, manual dexterity, ability to move between offices and floors of buildings.
- Ability to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
- Ability to be physically in attendance at designated worksite during scheduled work hours and to work some evenings and weekends.
- Normal range of vision and hearing (with or without correction).
- Ability to lift up to 5-10 lbs.
