But we all share one goal: to improve the world responsibly and safely.KBR is seeking an ATM-X Content Developer to support our NASA AMES Research Center ARTS Program for KBR’s Science and Space division.The purpose of ARTS Program is to provide mission critical support for researchers with high-fidelity environments to conduct simulated flight and Air Traffic Management (ATM) research and advance the state-of-the-art simulation technology. One specific project, the NASA AMES’ Air Traffic Management-eXploration (ATM-X), supports the modernization of today’s air transportation system through a diverse portfolio of core capabilities, which include remotely supervised missions up through high-altitude operations. The ATM-X Content Developer will be responsible for developing highlights, flyer content, website language, and first draft public affairs written material for ATMx activities. He or she will work closely with the project management team and the integration/metrics lead to identify the appropriate needs and execute development of content on a timely schedule.The work will be performed at the NASA AMES Research Center facility in Mountain View, California.The ATM-X Content Developer will be responsible for:Liaising with managers to identify top level needs for content developmentTaking bulleted technical information and developing highlights and paragraphs that illustrate ATMx progress across activitiesTaking verbal communications and distilling this information into written content for websites, flyers, and public affairs piecesEnsuring that written content meets the needs of the requirements and associated tone of the medium/audienceServing as the point of contact to track project performance and ensuring tasks are conducted in a timely fashionEnsuring project deliverables are completed on time and within budgetSupporting the project management team on additional content development as needs are identifiedCommunicating effectively to the project management team about the content development needs, changes, or suggestionsREQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Education: Must have a bachelor’s degree in business management, business administration or a related field.Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in management and administrationProficient in Adobe and Microsoft office suiteStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to write effectively and conciselyStrong verbal and written communication skillsPREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:Prior experience supporting a NASA contractBasic Compensation:$65,700 - $98,600The offered rate will be based on contract affordability and the selected candidate’s working location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience, and in consideration of internal parity.Additional Compensation:KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
