Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Medical Malpractice Attorney with 3 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical malpractice litigation, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for advocating for clients' rights. Experience in dental malpractice is a bonus but not required.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage a caseload of medical malpractice cases from inception through resolution.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and settlement negotiations.
  • Collaborate with medical experts and other professionals to build compelling cases.
  • Maintain client relationships through regular communication and updates.
  • Stay current with developments in medical malpractice law and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:


  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
  • Proven track record of successful case outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Active membership in the NY state bar.
  • Experience in dental malpractice is a bonus but not necessary.
