Type: Six - month contract with opportunity for extension or full-time offer
Pay: $26 - $30 per hour based on experience
Shift/Hours: 730AM – 630PM Monday – Wednesday 730AM – 530PM Friday
Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:
· High volume of rooming patients
· Multi-tasking by stopping a task to greet and assist a patient
· Type while you are talking and using multiple resources and screens at the same time.
· This position is very structured with a high degree of repetition in the daily work.
· Scheduling the next visit and/or checking into the lab/xray.
· Providing vaccines.
· This position still handles the MyChart messages and Paperwork at high volumes.
Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:
High School Diploma or GED
MA-R or MA-C
Experience in Primary Care
