What you'll be doing

  1. Support Okteto for our strategic and large prospects
  2. Provide account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process
  3. Ensure the successful rollout and adoption of Okteto products through strong account management activities and coordination with pre-and-post sales engineering and support resources
  4. Conduct sales activities including prospecting and developing opportunities in large/strategic accounts
  5. Be the voice of the customer by contributing product ideas to our Product team
  6. Generate qualified leads and develop new customers towards the goal of exceeding quota.
  7. Travel as necessary to accounts in order to develop relationships and close large opportunities

A good fit

  1. Knowledge of DevOps and Kubernetes is a must have for the role!
  2. Experience in a high growth startup
  3. Understand the sales cycle and have shown success in the past
  4. Knowledge of how to cultivate growth in customers

Nice to have

  1. Ability to provide a high degree of major account management and success
  2. A true desire to see customers benefit from the investment they make with you
  3. Be autonomous and accountable in your efforts
  4. Proven success with B2B and DevOps software sales
  5. Experience selling into large organizations
  6. Interest in Okteto and open source software
  7. Ability to leverage established relationships and proven sales techniques for success
  8. Effective communicator (written/verbal), strong interpersonal skills
  9. Motivated, driven and results-oriented
  10. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
