The Senior Customer Logistics Coordinator will be part of JOM's Clinical Supply Unit (CSU) team. The Senior Customer Logistics Coordinator is responsible for Janssen clinical and sample order management process. Manage all activities required for setting up and launching clinical trials from the JOM distribution center. The ability to provide keen attention to detail and exhibit a strong sense of urgency are essential. Experience collaborating in a cross- functional and/or global team environment is required. Experience managing relationships with external customers and/or business partners is required. Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, personal accountability, customer focus, ability to work in a team environment and verbal and written communication skills are required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service and accelerated growth by building strong and collaborative relationships with external customers and internal business partners.
- Order processing and coordinating the shipment and delivery of products with the distribution center and transportation to meet customer requirements and optimize cost and service.
- Ensures resolution of customer discrepancies relating to data integrity, shipping issues, and any operational issues.
- Accurately and timely collect information from customer inquiries
- Manage and balance key business relationships with passion & understanding of customer expectations and internal policies/requirements.
- Serves as subject matter expert (SME) within functional area. Ability to works independently on routine and non-routine tasks.
- Must possess high-level leadership, multi-tasking, and organizational skills and be able to provide coverage for department during normal operational customer service hours
- Collaborate with internal US and EU distribution centers to improve on efficiencies and issue resolution by identify, support and lead process improvements.
- Writes, reviews and modifies SOP's and other documents as vital and provides training, as needed.
- Support deviations and CAPA's related to order management.
- Adhere to regulations by local, state and federal including FDA and DEA.
- Assist in internal/external audits and ensures JOM CSU is audit ready.
- A minimum of a High School Diploma is required.
- A minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience is required.
- The ability to handle complexity and work in a cross-functional environment is required.
- Customer mind-set, with strong collaboration, interpersonal communication, and problem solving skills, and ability to influence without authority is highly preferred.
- Verbal and written communication skills are required
- SAP/ERP knowledge and experience and Microsoft Office programs are required.
- Warehouse Management System (WMS) knowledge and experience preferred.
- Experience in Clinical Trial Management, Operations, Manufacturing, Distribution, Information Technology or other Supply Chain related field is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience and Logistics experience in Clinical Trial Management, Operations, Manufacturing, Planning, Distribution, or other Supply Chain- related field highly preferred.
- Process improvement / Lean / Six Sigma experience, training or certification preferred.
- Requires ability to work off-hours and weekends when necessary.
Additional Information:
- The anticipated base pay range for this position is $50,000 to $80,500 annually.
- The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
