As a Senior Technical Consultant under our Client Operations department, you will play a critical role in ensuring our software lives up to its world-class reputation. You will triage the end-user customer incidents as they are reported. Working as a Senior Technical Consultant team member, you will be responsible for working technical issues, owning the client feedback loop process, and securing existing revenue by means of customer retention. This includes the triaging of daily reported incidents and queue management.
You will utilize in-depth troubleshooting skills, manage complex issues, and help drive escalations to resolution. You will demonstrate advanced cross-application knowledge among our Core ERP modules. Our Client Operations team members push our software to the limit, making sure it is efficient and intuitive; ensuring our software is best-in-class. In this position, you will be able to gain experience in the oil and gas industry; including economic, accounting, and finance knowledge of the industry. You’ll have the opportunity for rapid growth within a fast-growing, high-tech, oil and gas software provider.
We prefer that this position be in Texas (Houston, Dallas, or Austin) or in Tulsa, OK where WES was founded. For the right candidate; however, this position may be remote. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite
- A drive to continue learning in the energy business and the W Energy Software
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Triage and active queue management
- Dependability and ability to manage/prioritize concurrent tasks
- Advanced SQL Development Skills
- Must be a self-starter and resourceful
- Some travel may be required
- Must be available for an on-call rotation
Preferred
- 3-5 years experience with oil and gas revenue accounting, gas processing, crude/gas/NGL transportation, or related fields
- Previous experience creating manuals, training documentation, and interactive training materials for software applications
- Experience providing software support and troubleshooting for SaaS applications
- Previous experience in reproducing issues in a test environment prior to production deployment
- Experience in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
