The likely salary range for this position is $110,500 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

You will ensure that Active Directory Forest infrastructure is functioning properly and securely across the enterprise. At GDIT you'll be at the forefront of innovation and play a meaningful part in improving how agencies operate.
HOW A Systems Administrator WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Configuring and maintaining complex Active Directory forests and domains across a intricate network with over 10,000 users and 20,000 Active Directory objects.
- Working within a bastion forest solution to provide comprehensive security and management across multiple Active Directory forests.
- Continually monitoring the environment to ensure best practices and Federal guidelines are being followed.
- Creating advanced monitoring strategies for monitoring and reporting the health of Active Directory components.
- Recording problem symptoms and status information in a timely fashion and communicating internally within IT and externally with the customer through problem resolution.
- Conducting complex troubleshooting and repair tasks on Active Directory, Windows Server 2008-2019, Domain Controllers, user authentication and other operational systems as needed.
- Monitoring, backup, and restoration procedures for Active Directory.
- Documenting new system components, or modifications to existing components
- Ensuring the security and integrity of system and product solutions.
- Participating in on-call rotation (as required) for emergency technical support and planned maintenance activities.
- Performing research, procurement, deployment and configuration of systems.
- Presenting clear, organized & concise information to audiences to enable business decisions.
- Education : BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline (May substitute experience for education)
- Required Experience : 3- 8 years of relevant experience supporting projects of similar size, scope and complexity
- Required Technical Skills : DoD 8140 compliance required. (CompTIA Security+)
- Security Clearance Level : Active Top Secret (must have a T5 or T5R investigation within the last 5 years)
- Required Skills and Abilities: Highly motivated, self-starter with great communications skills; effective problem solver; able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
