Description:

We have an immediate temporary need for an experienced HR Business Partner
The HR Business Partner will provide HR counsel and support to multiple functional and/or business client groups ensuring effective and impactful implementation of human resources practices, processes and programs that support organizational effectiveness and associate development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provides coaching in Talent Management and Succession Planning, Staffing and Selection, Training and Development, Team Development, Compensation and Associate Engagement.
• Works with the appropriate BD entities (i.e. Centers of Excellence including Associate Service Center, Employee Relations team, Total Rewards, Site & Regional HR team & Corporate HR Departments) to support client needs and execute on HR programs for the business.
• May lead discussions with client leaders and teams on HR issues. Influences them to introduce programs & initiatives. Identifies opportunities and problems that require decisions and approval. Gathers and presents the relevant information to enable the leaders to understand and take action regarding HR related business needs and opportunities.
• Analyzes metrics, reports and data. Shares relevant information with the leaders. Determines how this information should drive change and continuous improvement across the business.
• Evaluates internal and external HR related tools/options for solving business problems. Provides recommendations to the leaders and is responsible for developing important internal and external relationships.
• Design and implementation of engagement & retention strategies; identifies retention issues and recommends creative solutions to address them; partners with client leaders to track progress and execution
• Assists leadership to create work environments & reward systems that keep the associates stimulated and the team and organization productive.
• May supports managers during Performance Management and talent review activities.
• May assist client groups with organizational capability and capacity analyses and planning, organization design, and key talent development. May co-leads a talent development program that is currently deployed.
• Oversees proper utilization and functioning of contingent and company talent acquisition programs, tools and resources to ensure staffing needs are filled with quality candidates in an expedient manner
• Ensures compliance with the local Labor Law.
• May participates and leads different initiatives related to Associate Engagement.
• Works closely with hiring managers and talent acquisition partners to establish position requirements, necessary skills & competencies for current & future needs and successful recruiting.
Education & Experience
• BS/BA degree in Business Administration, HR Management or related field.
• Professional of Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) Certification desired
• Experience working with an HRIS system, Workday preferred.
• Minimum four years as a generalist, HR business partner that required change management, organizational effectiveness/development, recruitment/selection, compensation, employment law, positive employee relations, performance management, HRIS and/or employee and management training/development.
• Experience preferably working in a pharma, MedTech, or healthcare industry.
• Experience supporting a diverse client group including field sales, field service, medical and regulatory affairs is preferred ranging from hourly non-exempt associates to professional business functions to PhD technical associates.
• Experience working in mid/large complex environments and matrixed organization is desirable

• Strong HR operational knowledge including knowledge of labor laws and why HR policies are what they are as opposed to merely knowing what they say.
• Experience supporting a diverse client group including clients ranging from non-exempt to professional business functions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Workday or other HRIS system experience.
• Ability to interface with various business clients and adeptly navigate a variety of business opportunities and challenges.
• Possesses key process skills such as consulting, problem-solving, evaluation/diagnosis,
• Possesses personal credibility as embodied by proven track record of success,
• Strong listening and communications skills-including presentation with the ability to work as a part of the team.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills across multiple levels, functions and cultures with a sense of urgency required.
