GENERAL PURPOSE: Receive, count, move and stage materials for production jobs as noted on job tickets and schedules in a safe, timely and efficient manner. Track material usage in hard copy and electronic database. Utilize a handheld scanner for scanning and counting activities. Participate in cycle counts of inventory and yearly physical inventory.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:\u2022 Works closely with all departments to ensure products are received and delivered accurately to production jobs in a timely manner.\u2022 Follows all standard operations procedures, work instructions, and current GMPs.\u2022 Operates box truck properly and safely.\u2022 Operates forklift properly and safely.\u2022 Communicates effectively with operators.\u2022 Performs counts and scanning activities daily.\u2022 Follows all safety rules.\u2022 Assists with timely and accurate period cycle count.\u2022 Assists with the complete annual physical inventory process.\u2022 Assists with the resolution inventory discrepancies.\u2022 Delivers materials to appropriate jobs per job tickets and the schedule; moves and stages materials as needed.\u2022 Manages time effectively.\u2022 Performs other job duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:\u2022 High school diploma or G.E.D.\u2022 Must have a valid driver\u2019s license.\u2022 Must be able to pass in-house forklift training and be certified on box truck.\u2022 Must be efficient in basic computer skills (e-mail, word processing, database, etc.).\u2022 Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.\u2022 Must have good organizational skills.\u2022 Must be able to work well in a team environment.\u2022 Must have knowledge of or ability to learn safety rules and procedures, operating, maintenance, and technical policies and procedures.\u2022 Must be able to relate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.\u2022 Must be able to maintain good attendance.\u2022 Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
