(For more information, please click more!Office of Auditing and Performance Analysis:The Office of Auditing and Performance Analysis (APA) is responsible for technical reviews in all industries, and may include financial, compliance, management, and operational analyses. The APA analysts conduct reviews of utility-related records and data, and they provide independent verification of utility filings and statements.Description of Job Duties:The Chief of Auditing has the following responsibilities:Assign, direct and supervise staff to audit historical and forecasted financial exhibits, transactions, and allocations. The employee will be required to review audit reports and work papers for compliance with the Bureau of Auditing standards. The employee will be responsible for completing performance reviews and developing training programs to meet assigned audit objectives and correct staff deficiencies.Minimum Qualifications:A bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major course of study preferably in accounting, finance, mathematics, economics, statistics, public administration and business administration with an emphasis in economics, finance or accounting.Previous supervisory experience is required.Special consideration will be given to candidates with knowledge about basic accounting principles.Information verifying answers to the Qualifying Questions must be found on the Employment Application.Background investigations, including criminal history record checks and education verification's, will be conducted on all applicants recommended for hiring.
