Job Title: IT Lead – West Allis, WI

Job Summary: The IT Lead role is to provide a point of contact for end users to receive support and maintenance within the organization’s computing environment. This includes installing, maintaining, and upgrading all PC hardware, mobile devices, and equipment to ensure optimal performance. The person will also do basic troubleshooting (in person, by telephone, or electronically) in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user assistance when/where required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day IT support.
  • Install, support, and maintain computer desktops, laptops, phones, tablets, printers, and/or related hardware and software, including imaging/deploying computers and peripherals for new hires.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd level support for the end-user community including remote users.
  • Provide basic Active Directory Users & Computers Support.
  • Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, and electronically in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Cultivate good working relationships with end users and team members.
  • Analyze and resolve end user software and hardware issues and provide end user training where required.
  • Thoroughly record information into Cherwell Service Desk Tool to ensure resolution in compliance with service level agreements and EMCOR IT SOP’s.
  • Manage IT assets, keep asset management systems up to date.
  • Support several offices and jobsites with varying degrees of connectivity and complexity.
  • Oversee local IT Department.
  • Other tasks as required by management.

Experience:

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required as travel to other sites is necessary on occasion.
  • Microsoft Windows 10 & 11 familiarity.
  • Microsoft Office Suite familiarity.
  • High school diploma or equivalency required.

Preferred Experience:

  • CompTIA or Microsoft Certifications or comparable experience.
  • Windows Server 2016 & 2019 usage/support.
  • iPhone/iPad usage/support.
  • Microsoft Intune, SCCM and Autopilot or similar endpoint management technology.
  • Basic Microsoft Active Directory knowledge.
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
