Job Requirements / Description

As a Revenue Cycle Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing financial performance through effective management of the revenue cycle process. This position requires expertise in medical billing, coding, and reimbursement procedures.
Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and timely submission of medical claims to insurance providers.
Review and assign appropriate codes to diagnoses and procedures for billing purposes.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve coding discrepancies.
Monitor the status of submitted claims and follow up on unpaid or denied claims.
Investigate and appeal rejected claims to ensure maximum reimbursement.
Provide clear and concise explanations of patient balances and payment options.
Process patient payments, refunds, and adjustments accurately.
Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in the revenue cycle process.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management.
Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification preferred.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
