Summary of Position:
Develop and implement an organization-wide human resource strategy that aligns with the organization’s vision and its current and long-term business objectives.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Ensure that all activities and programs related to human resources are implemented in accordance with the organization’s human resource strategy. These may include: recruitment; training and development; compensation/remuneration; performance evaluation; organizational development; relocation; equal employment/affirmative action; human resources administration; human resource information systems; employee communications; employment/industrial/labor relations.
  2. Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of managers to ensure that the organization’s human resource strategy is implemented effectively, consistently, and according to established guidelines and budgets.
  3. Oversee maintenance of accurate and complete personnel records. Ensure that rules concerning confidentiality and retention are followed.
  4. Keep abreast of legislation affecting human resources; train managers and monitor company policies to ensure compliance.
  5. Oversee preparation of job descriptions and compensation programs. Seek incentive programs that encourage excellent performance and increase retention rates.
  6. Oversee ongoing employment litigation and seek solutions to reduce overall costs.
  7. Work with top management to set long-term staffing goals and strategies.
  8. Oversee training programs in context of compliance with government regulation.
  9. Manage the organization’s management development process by ensuring that effective systems exist across the organization.
  10. Make regular reports to President and Executive Committee.
  11. Compile relative HR metrics, analyzing, reporting and identifying trends with recommendations provided.
  12. Meet TKMNA Employee Attributes/Competencies.

This position works on site in a warehouse/manufacturing environment in Livermore, CA. This role is not eligible for hybrid or remote.

Qualifications:

  1. A bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in Human Resources and/or experience equivalent.
  2. SPHR Certification or SHRM-SCP Certification.
  3. Over ten years of experience in human resources with management responsibilities.
  4. Thorough knowledge of laws affecting human resources administration for the state of California is required - certification is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. MBA preferred.

The range for this position is $149,470 - $224,200.

Job Compensation

$149,472.99 - $224,209.48
