KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Education and/or licensure requirements: 
 Licensed by IEMA, Division of Nuclear Safety – Required
 Registered by ARRT (RT,R) – Required
 CPR certification – Required
 Registered as a CT Technologist by the ARRT (RT,R CT) – Preferred
 Compliant with PPD requirements
Experience:
 Minimum 5 years of experience as a CT Technologist -Required
 Demonstrates initiative and leadership abilities - Required

 

The CT Quality Technologist is responsible for the technical quality of CT Imaging and acts as a technical resource for Radiologists, Director and Staff Technologists. Quality Technologist ensures compliance with all Illinois Emergency Management Agency Div. of Nuclear Safety (IEMA) regulatory standards as applicable to CT and radiation protection and American College of Radiology (ACR) Accreditation. Quality technologist assists in performing payroll edits, prepares daily schedule, orders supplies, and ensures daily reconciliation of Open Order and Taken Status Reports. The Quality Technologists is responsible for orientating, training and the development of new staff technologists.
