OverviewAre you working in an entry level HR position now and looking to take your career to the next level as part of a truly Global HR Team? We are looking for a highly organized HR Generalist who wants the opportunity to partner with senior members of our HR Team to support our teams with business impacting programs and projects. This is generalist role will allow you to have the ability to support multiple client groups and areas of HR and build your HR toolkit in each project you support. Our ideal candidate is looking for a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and is analytical, detail-oriented, service-focused, curious, adaptive, and looking for an opportunity to take ownership and make an impact.
This position includes hybrid work options and must live within commuting distance of our Itasca, IL office.
Responsibilities- Assist in the interpretation and consistent application of HR policies and benefit programs.
- Partner with the HR team on special projects (learning and development, performance management, talent acquisition, engagement...to name a few!)
- Provide data analysis and reporting based on business needs
- Partner with HR colleagues in HRBP roles, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, and Legal teams to implement solutions and support the business
- Provide back-up support to other HR team members across various locations
- Participate in and support a variety of HR processes such as such as organizational development, team effectiveness, performance management, staffing, training initiatives, career development, compensation and employee engagement.
- Identify and implement processes to improve ways of working.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently, set daily priorities and should have excellent time management and analytical skills. A high degree of professionalism is required with clients and peers. Thoroughness and confidentiality are essential.
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred
- 1-3 years of prior HR experience with a preference for an HR generalist role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort level working with all levels of employees (including leadership) in a fast-paced and change-oriented environment
