The Performance Group is partering with a Hanover client to help fulfill their hiring needs.Join a great team of high-tech metal fabrication and machining personnel, who provides grea production and service to its customers.*General Machine Shop Assembly **1st Shift: 7am - 3pm / OT as needed **$16 - $19 DOE **Duties: *Utilizing measuring equipment calculation, and machines to ensure that the prodcut has met all specification, while meeting customer needs and expectations with qualityOperate a wide variety of hand and power toolsClosely follows directions to operate machinery, hold or supply materials and tools, and fabricated parts on assembly linesCleans and maintains a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away tools as assignedPerforms miscellaneous jobs at the plant, as neededMaybe be trained to act as forklift operator when normal operator is outReports any issues to supervisor or higher-level employeeRequired Skills:Good verbal and written communication skillsAbility to listen, understand, and follow directionsAbility to handle materials and equipment in a responsible mannerAbility to perfom basic arithmetic as neededAbility to read blueprings and use mearsuing tools*Education & Experience Requirements *Previous labor in manufacturing experience requiredHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred*Working Conditions *Ability to handle prolonged periods of standing and walking consistentlyMust be able to perfom physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body.
