RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Juno Beach, FL that is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Tax Strategic Initiatives and Technology team.

Duties Include:

1. Business Analyst will support tax credit transfer operational processes
2. Support transaction due diligence
3. Support cross functional tax automation and analytics projects
4. Work with business stakeholders, IT solution architects, and developers on technology projects
5. Manage multiple tax technology implementation projects using Waterfall or Agile methodology
6. Prepare documentation for project end to end lifecycle
7. Act as product owner for complex and cross functional implementation projects
8. Learn Alteryx Designer and develop process automation workflows to reduce process cycle time
9. Liaising between the IT department and the Tax business partners
10. As a Business Analyst, you will be acting as an information source and communicator between IT workstreams
11. Creating process flow diagrams and data flow diagrams
12. Understanding strategic business needs and plans for growth
13. Analyzing the design of technical systems and business models
14. Analyzing business needs
15. Sourcing and implementing new business technology
16. Finding technological solutions to meet business requirements
17. Producing reports on application development and implementation

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Information Management is preferred with a CPA or advanced degree a plus
2. Microsoft Suite including Excel, Access, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Word
3. Experience in corporate tax compliance and/or tax accounting
4. Aptitude to learn technologies being introduced or developed within the company including software products such as Alteryx and SAP Business Objects
5. Excellent verbal, written, communication, decision making, analytical, and critical thinking skills
6. Project management or Six Sigma skills to facilitate excellent execution in tax projects is a plus
