Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift Details: Day Shift (3-4 staff per procedural room), Night Shift (On Call, 4 person team); Call required 2 nights per week and every other weekend.
Required Certifications: RN with current Cath Lab experience (minimum 2 years); Cardiac Cath Lab techs must have MRT license and specialty certifications.
Scrub Attire: Any color scrubs except those provided by the facility; must wear black, white, or gray shoes.
EMR Used: MAC Lab
Unit Information: 4 procedural rooms, 14 recovery bays, 45 staff members; Patient Ratios: 3-4 staff per patient procedure.
Relevant Skills: Experience in Cath Lab, IR, Peripheral, Neuro IR; additional skills in EP preferred.
Typical Procedures: Cardiac cath R&L, IABP, PTCA, thrombolytic infusion, pacemakers, stents, IVUS, angioplasty, and several other interventional procedures.
