Responsibilities For The Property Accountant
- Journal entry process
- Bank account reconciliation
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Analyze commissions
- Fixed asset depreciation, journal entry preparation
- Financial reporting for portfolio
- Distributions
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Ad hoc reporting and special projects
Qualifications For The Property Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2+ years of Accounting experience
- Real Estate experience a plus
- Yardi or similar software
- QuickBooks a plus
- MS Excel experience
