Project Manager

Job Description

This Lead Project Manager will be focused on defining tools and processes to support overall organizational excellence in program/project management and process definition. Projects typically will last less than 12 months and under $1M.

Responsibilities

1. Full end-to-end control of activities, bringing alignment among different teams.
2. Manage and coordinate cross-functional activities for the entire project.
3. Keep change control of project spreadsheet, aligning on important dates and gates.
4. Maintain close relationships with international teams, external partners, and senior leaders to guarantee timely accomplishment of activities.
5. Work with project sponsors and internal teams to define business requirements and project scope.
6. Manage change control against scope and its impacts on time, cost, and quality.
7. Define project schedule, manage task assignments, and track work against the schedule.
8. Facilitate level of effort estimating and develop asset acquisition requirements; track and report on actuals against forecast.
9. Provide guidance and direction on project methodology and best practices using Converse standard project methodology; define and manage project success/delivery criteria and monitor and report on the realization of project success against criteria set.
10. Define risk management plan, analyze risk for criticality, probability, and impact; develop risk mitigation strategies, assign owners and actions.

Qualifications

1. 8+ years of project management experience across complex projects.
2. Highly proficient with project management methodologies.
3. Experience with Smartsheet.
4. Experience in apparel, footwear, and/or textile development industries.
5. Experience communicating and working with senior leaders.

Education: Bachelor's Degree
