Travel Nurse RN - Rehab in Windsor, VT

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)
**Job Specialty:** Rehabilitation - Med/Surg
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Days, 12 hours
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 2 years recent Med Surg Rehab experience required. Previous travel experience of at least 3 months required. Charge RN experience required. BSN preferred.
**License:** RN License
**Certifications:** ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
**Must-Have:**
- Willingness to float between Acute Rehab and Med Surg
- Ability to work every other weekend and holidays if needed
- Must have own vehicle due to lack of public transport in the area
- Willingness to work two of the following: Thanksgiving and weekend after, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after, New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day and weekend after
**Job Description:**
- Coordinate total nursing care for patients.
- Participate in patient and family teaching.
- Provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
- May be asked to work as a backup Charge Nurse.
- Use of Electronic Medical Records system: Cerner.
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1 to 4/5.
- Average daily patient census: 22.
- Must be flexible with schedule as block scheduling is not considered.
- Request for time off during course of the assignment must be noted and verified prior to assignment start. Requests after start will not be approved, and no more than 5 days off will be accepted.
- Local travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible.
