We are seeking a Senior Developer to support the 2026 Census Test Partnership CRM Solution. In this role, you will design, develop, and configure a robust Salesforce CRM solution within an Agile framework. You will work on creating and implementing technical components such as triggers, Lightning Web Components, and other elements based on the Detailed Design. The Senior Developer will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration of the solution across multiple platforms and addressing any compatibility issues. Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams to ensure project completion and support the overall success of the CRM implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primarily remote work arrangement with occasional need for in-person meetings in the DC, MD, and VA area and potential for short term travel to program sites.
  • Develop and configure the Salesforce CRM solution, including creating triggers, Lightning Web Components, and custom code based on project requirements.
  • Perform unit testing on all developed components to ensure functionality and compliance with best practices.
  • Address solution integration challenges, ensuring compatibility across various platforms used within the Census Bureau systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during all phases of software development, including planning, analysis, testing, integration, and documentation.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to resolve development issues as they arise throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct feasibility analysis on future development projects, offering insights and recommendations to management.
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives within the Agile framework, contributing to iterative development and continuous improvement of the CRM solution.
  • Ensure compliance with security guidelines and requirements, particularly for FedRAMP, to safeguard Census Bureau data.
  • Oversee the documentation of all technical processes and workflows related to the Salesforce solution.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in software development, with expertise in Salesforce development.
  • Experience with Salesforce triggers, Lightning Web Components, and integration across multiple platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira.
  • Experience conducting feasibility analysis for future development projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly related to solution integration and platform compatibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
