JOB SUMMARY

The Sr. Business Systems Analyst is responsible for working closely with business stakeholders and product owners applying business and product expertise to ensure optimal value is achieved across core business processes. This position requires deep operational knowledge across business domains, strong technical skills, and the ability to lead transformational change. An evangelist for users, this position will work cross functionally to promote process improvement, waste reduction, and expanded cross-functional knowledge. Will be required to act as a product owner for key enterprise applications.


This role requires hands-on experience with Asphalt or Concrete Plant Production.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Business Process Champion


  • Accountable to ensure key business systems are operating at maximum value on behalf of Lakeside Industries’ business process owners.
  • Provide support and expertise to cross-functional teams as necessary.
  • Expected to identify and advocate for business process improvement through the use of technology.
  • Ensures business processes are agreed upon, documented, and understood across stakeholder teams.

Product Management


  • Accountable to ensure the effective technologies are in place in support of key business processes.
  • Responsible to lead improvement efforts in collaboration with business stakeholders and the Lakeside technical team.
  • Leads interactions with customers to communicate status, resolve issues, and obtain sign-offs (i.e., design complete, testing complete, and/or ready for promotion).
  • Act as an enterprise expert providing systems support as needed across the company.
  • Coordinate and provide leadership to product owner team as necessary to ensure alignment and the application of standard practices.
  • Facilitate product and release demo, taking accountability for feedback and outcomes.
  • Clearly communicate release content and value to all stakeholders and leadership.
  • Manage issues and collaborate to ensure risk-informed decisions.
  • Build and maintain work backlog, prioritizing and refining in alignment with product roadmap.
  • Creates viable and consumable specifications, including acceptance criteria, in preparation for the sign-off, construction, and testing of solutions.
  • Develops and executes work plans for project activities.
  • Performs to schedule and completes all tasks in the agreed upon timelines.
  • Writes, revises, verifies, and executes functional and regression tests.
  • Manage user acceptance testing and sign off on completed user stories and user acceptance testing.
  • Works with the team to determine and implement agreed upon testing and training practices.
  • Documents, teaches, and coaches as necessary to ensure user adoption.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • 3+ years’ experience with Asphalt or Concrete Plants/Production
  • 10+ years’ experience performing progressively more complex and responsible work in a related role.
  • Demonstrated excellence in client interaction, analytical skills, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a cooperative manner.
  • Previous construction industry experience preferred.
  • Must be able and willing to travel up to 30%.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT


While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be primarily indoors in environmentally controlled conditions, such as an office. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk. Occasionally the employee will be required to stoop, kneel, or crouch, reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 20 lbs. WAGE & BENEFIT INFORMATION


The full salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000. People entering this job typically start between $95,000 to $105,000, depending on direct professional experience, education, qualifications, and geographic location.


Lakeside Industries, Inc. provides a comprehensive benefits package to its full-time Admin employees (and their families) that includes medical with prescription coverage, HSA/FSA, dental, vision reimbursement program, Life/AD&D, LTD, 401k (with employer matching plus discretionary Company Profit Sharing contributions), 128 accrued hours of PTO, extended illness time accrued at five (5) days per year up to a maximum of 200 hours, EAP, wellness program, and seven (7) paid holidays.
