Our Client is looking for a Sr Dir/Dir Supply Chain

• Work directly with the Sales Ops and Marketing on sales projections and sampling activities to assure optimal levels of inventory for the Brands
• Work directly with the Sales Ops, Pricing, and Customer Service on sales projections and RFP/Bid activities to optimize RFP outcomes driving growth and avoiding 2 HR DEPARTMENT service level concerns for the Portfolio Review and update supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing policies and regulations
• Participate in the coordination of formulation changes, product line extensions, or new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow
• Coordinate business review meetings with the 3rd party vendors to discuss performance metrics, to provide performance feedback, and to discuss production forecasts or changes. Participate in annual audits of each CMO.
• Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, or quality assurance
• Attend meetings and webinars to continuously educate on how to implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, and cost reduction strategies
• Lead the DSCSA requirements and meet expectations of the regulations and customer expectations for the US market • Evaluate and select information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials or products distribution, storage, or inventory
• Oversea activities related to maintaining of company’s ERP system up to date and exploring the full capabilities of the systems to further assist in more effective and efficient workflow
• Coordinates and assures manual and electronic data exchange with 3PLs to supply accurate day to day information to ERP system • Logistics & Customs • Understanding of various transportation modes (air, sea, land) and their costs, timelines, documentation, and process to manage and book.
• Knowledge of freight optimization, route planning and experience in managing relationships with Freight Forwarders, brokers, and carriers
• In-depth knowledge of customs filing processes, including document preparation for import/export activities, such as ISF’s, bills of lading, commercial invoices, etc.
• Familiarity with international shipping regulations, customs processes, and trade compliance.
• Understanding of Incoterms and duties/tariff structures in different regions.
• Expertise in creating FDA product codes and in selecting Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes based on product classification and understanding of tariff
