Job Details
Responsibilities
As the Civil Engineering Lead, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Leading and managing a team of civil engineers and technicians in the planning, design, and implementation of site development projects.
2. Utilizing Civil 3D to create detailed, accurate, and efficient designs for a variety of projects.
3. Overseeing all stages of project development, including feasibility studies, design, construction, and post-construction evaluation.
4. Coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure project requirements are met and regulations are adhered to.
5. Developing and implementing innovative engineering solutions to complex problems.
6. Ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
7. Mentoring and developing junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Civil Engineering Lead position will have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or Professional Engineer (PE) certification would be considered an asset.
2. A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on site development.
3. Proficiency in Civil 3D or equivalent software.
4. Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing and mentoring a team.
5. Strong technical skills, with a thorough understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
7. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a knack for developing innovative engineering solutions.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality and efficiency.
