About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Analyst who will be responsible for managing clearance, settlement and reconciliation of equity and options trades on behalf of the firm’s growing institutional trading business. In this role, you will work closely with sales traders, position traders, broader operations and compliance teams, developers, and our customers to ensure timely settlement of trades with clear communication. The Senior Analyst will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and work closely with the head of Institutional Sales. This role is global in scope and will overlap with our London based affiliate and non-US customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts for the institutional business for middle and back office support to clients
  • Daily engagement with the firm’s prime broker, clearing relationships, and client contacts to ensure timely settlement of trades and proactive communication around potential fails
  • Align with the sales trading desks in the US to understand client needs / expectations, and work together to develop proper deliverables
  • Build and refine processes to ensure scalable solutions to settlement / clearing needs as the firms trading businesses grow
  • Engage across multiple product sets: be able to pivot across ETFs, Equities, OTC ADRs, listed options

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of working experience in equities / options settlement role
    • Working knowledge of CNS, DTC, ACT, etc.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills / advanced MS Excel skills. Some familiarity with programming (SQL or Python) is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as on a team
  • Interested in problem solving, making processes better / more efficient, and being part of a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
  • Spanish speaking is a plus
